Today on episode 622 we have a fantastic comedian on the show Macey Isaacs. I first saw Macey doing stand up at The Comedy Store in the Belly Room around 3 years ago and thought she had some great jokes and great delivery. Macey has some very dry human that reminded me of Bob Newhart and Steven Wright who we both love. Today we sit down today and talk about how she got into Stand Up from moving to LA from Austin, To being an Intern for comedy manager Barry Katz to taking courses at Groundlings. Macey has a great story and I think you guys are gonna dig it. Make sure you guys follow her on instagram @maceyisaacs and go see her on stage in the Los Angeles area. #617: Tom Vitale / Author of "In The Weeds - Around The World and Behind The Scenes with Anthony Bourdain
Today on episode 617 of Let There Be Talk my guest is Tom Vitale, author of "In The Weeds - Around The World and Behind The Scenes with Anthony Bourdain. In the nearly two years since Anthony Bourdain's death, no one else has come close to filling the void he left. His passion for and genuine curiosity about the people and cultures he visited made the world feel smaller and more connected. Despite his affable, confident, and trademark snarky TV persona, the real Tony was intensely private, deeply conflicted about his fame, and an enigma even to those close to him. Tony’s devoted crew knew him best, and no one else had a front-row seat for as long as his director and producer, Tom Vitale. Tune in and hear these amazing stories and make sure you buy this incredible book. Don't forget to subscribe to my podcast on iTunes Candles Lit my Friends. DDR
